Sky Loom Kazak Rug

It is a well made rug but the colors are much more muted in person than they appeared on my screen. I was expecting a slightly brighter blue. Still, the construction is solid and it feels like it will last a long time with our dogs.

I was super hesitant to spend this much on a rug online without touching it first, but it exceeded my expectations. The geometric pattern is beautiful and the blue is a really nice soft slate tone. It had a slight wool smell for the first two days but it went away quickly after vacuuming. It looks incredibly expensive in my living room.

You can instantly tell this is a high quality handmade piece. The knot density is excellent and it feels heavy and substantial. The subtle color variations in the wool give it so much character. It completely flattened out within 24 hours of unrolling.

I am so glad I pulled the trigger on this. The muted blues and earth tones are so soothing and elegant. My guests have already given me so many compliments on it. It feels dense and plush even though it has a shorter pile height.

The rug arrived rolled very tightly and the edges took almost a week to fully lay flat. Now that it is settled, it looks great, but packaging could have been a bit looser to avoid the curling.
